Students have been arriving all day long; some having traveled across the country, others just a short drive away. Dartmouth students, referred to as airport ambassadors, helped pick up students at Manchester Airport. The drive up from Manchester was, for many prospies, the first glimpse of what it would be like to go to Dartmouth. After a short hour-plus drive, prospies finally arrived on campus where they were eagerly greeted by Dartmouth students on campus and guided up to registration.
Registration has been fun!! Students met at the Top of the Hop where they signed in, got Welcome Packets and were met by their hosts. Welcome forums led by current Dartmouth students gave prospies a quick orientation of what to expect during the weekend and gave the admitted students a chance to ask all sorts of questions without adults present.
Registration is just the beginning. I can’t wait for the weekend to begin!
